Anette and Bret discuss his knowledge of many kinds of music, as well as his background in playing and teaching various instruments. Bret tries to adapt his lessons to fit the student's personal interests, to better engage them. Anette shares the challenges that some of the varying approaches Bret uses challenge her in a way that mirrors the challenges many of our youth face on a daily basis in our schools.
